ABOUT Ken
Born of Irish lineage in Scotland, Ken Mullen has been searching for well-defined form and substance most of his subsequent waking days. Armed with two highly inappropriate English degrees, he embarked on a career as a copywriter. After thirty-odd years chipping away at the advertising coal-face, he finally fell back exhausted, straight into the arms of his first love, letters, wherein he has languished, quietly undetermined, ever since.

From FTSE-100 companies, leading brands and household names, Ken has worked as a copywriter for 32 years. Ken had some spectacular successes with numerous clients who said “Yes!” when presented with their work. Some of these clients are listed below.

From Ken’s teenage years, his influences have been wide-ranging enough to include Lead Belly, Eartha Kitt, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong. Latterly the early Elvis, Little Richard, and Johnny Cash have left their mark. John Lennon, Bob Dylan and Enya remain firm favourites.
